Owner/Managing Member
Cynthia Garnette, a graduate of The College of William and Mary, is an experienced CPA and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She worked for the company for 7 years before purchasing the company in September 2012. Her background is in accounting, non-profit management, and program development. MD license #37238
Deborah G Williams CPA
Senior Accountant
Deborah is a CPA with over 40 years of experience in accounting and taxation for small businesses and individuals such as real estate sales/development, retail, business professionals and consultants and non-profits. This includes work in budgeting/financial planning, general business consulting and preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and non-profit tax returns. She is a native of the MD suburbs where she raised two children and continues to reside.
Patti Winter
Bookkeeper
Patti Winter joined Williams Associates, LLC in 2017, bringing with her 22 years experience in the accounting arena. Her most recent experience has been working with small businesses as an independent accountant. She has an extensive knowledge of Quickbooks and bookkeeping. She is a graduate of both Montgomery College (AA in Banking and Finance Management) and the University of MD University College (BS in Accounting). Patti has 2 sons.
Pierre Santos
Accounting Assistant
Pierre Santos has been with the team since the start of 2020, initially joining as an intern. A dedicated worker, Pierre balances between work and school, currently studying Accounting and Finance at a local college. Pierre is also active in the ACES Scholarship Program at school, coincidentally allowing him to integrate his knowledge at work into the client portal we use.
Victoria Guevara
Office Administrator
Victoria Guevara comes from a 5 year background in air logistics for a cargo company at a Washington DC area airport, starting out in ground handling and working up to managing the accounts payables & receivables and administration for the station. She joined the team at the beginning of 2021 during the start of tax season.
